The browser extension is required for automatic application detection. Extension & Auto-Tracking

The ApplyTrack extension uses a high-speed content script that monitors DOM events on supported job boards. When you click “Submit” or “Apply,” the extension captures:
  • Company name and job title
  • Application date and time
  • Job description and requirements
  • Application URL and platform metadata
  • Location and salary information (if available)
All data is encrypted and sent to your private dashboard within seconds.
No. The extension is optimized for minimal resource usage and only activates on job board domains. It uses lazy-loading and efficient event listeners to ensure your browsing experience remains fast and responsive.The extension typically uses less than 5MB of memory and has no impact on page load times.
The extension only activates on supported job boards and application platforms to respect your privacy and minimize resource usage. Yes, you can disable the extension at any time through your browser’s extension settings. When disabled, ApplyTrack will not capture new applications automatically, but your existing data and dashboard access remain unchanged.You can also configure the extension to only track applications on specific domains through the extension settings panel.

Email Sync & Integration

ApplyTrack uses secure OAuth authentication to connect to your Gmail or Outlook account. We never store your email password—authentication is handled directly by Google or Microsoft.Once connected, ApplyTrack monitors email threads related to your job applications and automatically updates statuses when it detects:
  • Recruiter responses → Status changes to “In Review”
  • Interview invitations → Status changes to “Interviewing”
  • Rejection emails → Status changes to “Not Selected”
  • Offer letters → Status changes to “Offer Extended”

Yes, you can revoke ApplyTrack’s access to your email at any time through your dashboard settings. Disconnecting will:
  • Stop all future email monitoring
  • Revoke OAuth tokens immediately

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard settings. Changes take effect immediately:
  • Upgrading: Instant access to new features, prorated billing for the current period
  • Downgrading: Feature access removed at the end of current billing cycle, no partial refunds
If you downgrade from unlimited tracking to the free tier, your existing data is preserved but you won’t be able to add new applications beyond the 5/month limit.

When you cancel:
  • Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You’ll automatically be downgraded to the free tier
  • Your application data is preserved (up to the free tier limit of 5 applications)
  • Premium features (email sync, AI insights, etc.) will be disabled
You can export all your data before canceling or reactivate your subscription at any time to restore full access.

Data & Privacy

All application data is stored in secure, encrypted databases hosted on enterprise-grade infrastructure:
  • Encryption at rest: AES-256 encryption for all stored data
  • Encryption in transit: TLS 1.3 for all API communications
  • Isolated storage: Your data is logically separated from other users
  • Regular backups: Automated daily backups with 30-day retention
  • SOC 2 compliant: Annual third-party security audits
Yes, you can export all your data at any time in multiple formats:
  • CSV: Import into Excel or Google Sheets
  • JSON: Machine-readable format for custom integrations
  • PDF: Formatted report with all application details

To permanently delete your account:
  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Account
  4. Confirm deletion (this action is irreversible)
Upon deletion:
  • All application data is permanently removed within 48 hours
  • Email sync connections are revoked immediately
  • Browser extension access is disabled
  • All subscriptions are canceled with no refunds
We recommend exporting your data before deletion.
