Overview
The Academic Data section captures your educational history, including your highest degree earned and any additional professional training, certifications, or courses you’ve completed.This section has two parts:
- Highest Academic Degree (required) - Your formal education
- Additional Training/Certifications (optional but recommended) - Professional development courses
Accessing Academic Data Form
From your evaluation dashboard, click on Academic Data (Datos Académicos). You’ll be directed to:Before You Begin
Gather information about:Your Highest Degree
- Degree type (Primaria, Secundaria, Preparatoria, Licenciatura, Maestría, Doctorado)
- Institution name
- Start and end dates (or period)
- Supporting document type (certificate, diploma, transcript)
- Document location
Professional Training (if applicable)
- Course or certification name
- Training institution
- Start and end dates
- Type of document received (certificate, diploma, constancia)
Have your educational documents ready. You’ll need to reference them and eventually upload them in the Documents section.
Part 1: Highest Academic Degree
Enter Degree Information
Último Grado (
academicoUltimoGrado)- Select or enter your highest completed level of education:
- Primaria (Elementary School)
- Secundaria (Middle School)
- Preparatoria / Bachillerato (High School)
- Carrera Técnica (Technical Career)
- Licenciatura (Bachelor’s Degree)
- Maestría (Master’s Degree)
- Doctorado (Doctorate/PhD)
Select your highest completed degree. If you’re currently pursuing a degree but haven’t graduated, list the highest degree you’ve already completed.
Specify Time Period
Período Inicio (

- Format: Year or full date
- Example: “2015” or “Agosto 2015”
academicoPeriodoFinal)- When you completed/graduated
- Format: Year or full date
- Example: “2019” or “Julio 2019”
Enter Institution Details
Institución (
academicoInstitucion)- Full name of the school, college, or university
- Include the campus if there are multiple locations
- Examples:
- “Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango”
- “Instituto Tecnológico de Durango”
- “Colegio de Bachilleres del Estado de Durango”

- Título (Degree/Title)
- Cédula Profesional (Professional License)
- Certificado (Certificate)
- Diploma
- Constancia (Letter of Completion)
- Boleta de Calificaciones (Transcript)

Part 2: Additional Training & Certifications
After saving your highest degree, you can add professional training courses, workshops, certifications, or diplomas.Enter Course Details

- “Curso de Derechos Humanos y Uso de la Fuerza”
- “Certificación en Cadena de Custodia”

Training Period
Inicio (

- Can be year, month/year, or full date

- Use same format as start date
For single-day workshops, you can use the same date for both inicio and final.
Training Institution
Institución (

- Examples:
- “Centro de Control de Confianza”
- “Secretaría de Seguridad Pública”
- “Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Penales”
- Name of private training company
Proof of Completion

- Constancia (Certificate of Attendance)

Some trainings may not provide documentation. If this is the case, note “Sin documento” or “Verbal” and explain in observations if asked.

Viewing Your Academic Information
The page displays:- Your highest academic degree
- A list of all training/certifications you’ve added
Updating Your Degree Information
To edit your highest academic degree:- The form will show your existing degree information
- Make any necessary changes
- Click update/save
- Success message: “Se actualizo grado academico”
Editing a Training Entry
To modify a training record:- Click the edit button next to the training
- Update the fields
- Click save
- Success message: “Se actualizó capacitación”
Deleting Entries
Delete a Training/Certification:- Click delete next to the training
- Confirm deletion
- Success message: “Se eliminó capacitación”
- Use the delete option for the degree section
- Confirm deletion
- Success message: “Se eliminó grado academico”
Deleting All Academic Data
From the evaluation dashboard, you can delete the entire Academic Data section:- Find the delete option for Academic Data
- Confirm deletion
- Both degree and all training records will be removed
- Success message: “Datos academicos eliminados”

Accuracy Tips
- Verify dates: Check your documents for accurate dates
- Use official names: Use the institution’s full legal name
- Be specific: “Diplomado en Investigación” is better than “Curso”
- Document types matter: Know the difference between constancia, certificado, and diploma
- Keep records accessible: You’ll need to upload proof of education later

- Note if it’s been validated/revalidated in México

- Contact your institution about getting a duplicate
- You may need this for document upload later

Connection to Documents Section
Remember: You will need to upload proof of your education in the Document Requirements section:- Permanencia: Comprobante de Estudios (required)
- Nuevo Ingreso: Comprobante de Estudios (required)
Section Completion
The Academic Data section is considered complete when:- You have entered your highest academic degree
- All required fields for the degree are filled
- You have saved the information
Training/certifications are optional but recommended. Even without any additional training, the section can be marked complete if the degree is saved.
What Happens Next
After completing the Academic Data section:- Your evaluation progress increases to approximately 50% (3 of 6 sections)
- Return to your evaluation dashboard
- Academic Data section shows as complete ✓
- Proceed to the next section: Career Trajectory
