Overview
The Family Data section captures information about your immediate and extended family members. This includes parents, siblings, spouse, children, and any dependents.You’ll need to add each family member individually. The system allows you to add as many family members as needed.
Accessing Family Data Form
From your evaluation dashboard, click on Family Data (Datos Familiares). You’ll be directed to:Before You Begin
For each family member, gather:- Full name (first name and surnames)
- Relationship to you (parentesco)
- Occupation
- Age
- Whether they are still living (Vive: Sí/No)
- Phone number
- Whether they are your dependent (Dependiente económico: Sí/No)
Include all immediate family members (parents, siblings, spouse, children). You may also include grandparents, in-laws, or other relatives who are significant in your life.
Adding Family Members
Enter Names
Apellidos (

- Both paternal and maternal surnames
- Example: “García López”
familiarNombres)- Enter the given name(s)
- Example: “María Elena”
The system automatically combines these into a full name:

- Common values:
- Padre / Madre (Father / Mother)
- Hermano/a (Brother / Sister)
- Esposo/a (Husband / Wife)

- Suegro/a (Father-in-law / Mother-in-law)
- Cuñado/a (Brother-in-law / Sister-in-law)
- Tío/a (Uncle / Aunt)
- Primo/a (Cousin)
Enter Occupation and Age

- For those not working: “Hogar” or “Desempleado/a”

Even deceased immediate family members should be included (parents, siblings, spouse, children).

- Leave empty if not applicable (deceased, no phone, etc.)
Dependent Status
¿Es dependiente económico? (

- Select “No” if they are financially independent
Common dependents include:
- Children (especially minors)
- Stay-at-home spouse
- Elderly parents you support
- Disabled family members you care for
Save Family Member
Click the save button.Success message: “Se guardo familiar!”The family member will appear in your list on the same page.
Managing Family Members
Viewing Your Family List
The page displays all family members you’ve added in a list or table showing:- Full name
- Relationship
- Occupation
- Age
- Living status
- Phone number
- Dependent status
Editing a Family Member
To update information:- Click the edit button next to the family member
- Modify the fields as needed
- Click save
- Success message: “Familiar actualizado!”
You can update any field except the evaluation ID. The family member’s ID (
familiarID) remains the same.Deleting a Family Member
To remove a family member from the list:- Click the delete button next to the family member
- Confirm the deletion
- Success message: “Familiar eliminado!”
Deleting All Family Data
From the evaluation dashboard, you can delete your entire Family Data section:- Find the delete option for Family Data
- Confirm deletion
- All family members will be removed
- Success message: “Datos familiares eliminados”

- Use legal names: Use full legal names, not nicknames
- Be consistent: Use the same format for all entries
- Keep ages current: Use current age, not age when you last saw them
- Phone numbers: Use the most reliable contact number
- Dependent status: Be honest about financial dependents

While phone is optional in the system, it’s recommended to provide it whenever possible for living family members.
Section Completion
The Family Data section is considered complete when:- You have added at least one family member
- All added family members have complete information
- You have saved the section
There is no specific minimum or maximum number of family members required. Add all relevant family members for a complete picture.
What Happens Next
After completing the Family Data section:- Your evaluation progress increases to approximately 33.33% (2 of 6 sections)
- Return to your evaluation dashboard
- Family Data section shows as complete ✓
- Proceed to the next section: Academic Data

Troubleshooting
Family member not saving
Problem: Click save but family member doesn’t appear. Solution:- Check that all required fields are filled
- Ensure names are not empty
- Try refreshing the page and re-entering
Can’t delete family member
Problem: Delete button not working. Solution:- Ensure you have the correct
familiarID - Check that you’re logged into the right evaluation
- Try refreshing the page
Lost family data after editing
Problem: Made changes but they disappeared. Solution:- Always click save after editing
- Don’t navigate away before saving
- If lost, re-enter the information
