  • 1 Lapis Lazuli
Phantom Membranes drop from Phantoms, which spawn after you haven’t slept for several nights.

Armor crafting

Elemental Robes (Tier 1)

The basic Elemental Robes provide +20% spell power to all elements. Elemental Essence (required for robes):
  • Crafting recipe available in-game
  • Check your recipe book after installing the mod
Armor pieces:
  • Helmet: Standard helmet pattern with Elemental Essence
  • Chestplate: Standard chestplate pattern with Elemental Essence
  • Leggings: Standard leggings pattern with Elemental Essence
  • Boots: Standard boots pattern with Elemental Essence

Specialized Armor (Tier 2)

Specialized armor sets provide higher bonuses to specific elements:

Kelp Armor (Water)

  • Follow standard armor patterns
  • Uses Kelp as the primary material
  • Bonuses: +25% water spell power, +2% haste per piece

Dripstone Armor (Earth)

  • Follow standard armor patterns
  • Uses Dripstone as the primary material
  • Bonuses: +25% earth spell power, +2% critical chance per piece

Wind Armor (Air)

  • Follow standard armor patterns
  • Uses Phantom Membrane as the primary material
  • Bonuses: +25% air spell power, +5% critical damage per piece

Netherite Armor (Tier 3)

Upgrade your specialized armor with Netherite using the Smithing Table:
  1. Place your specialized armor piece in the first slot
  2. Add a Netherite Ingot in the second slot
  3. Apply the upgrade to get Netherite Kelp/Dripstone/Wind armor
Enhanced bonuses:
  • +30% element-specific spell power
  • Increased haste/crit stats
  • Netherite durability and knockback resistance
Netherite armor requires specialized armor as a base. You cannot directly craft Netherite elemental armor.

Weapon crafting

Wands

Wands are quick-casting weapons that provide spell power bonuses. Basic pattern (varies by tier):
  • Tier 0: Wood/Gold + element-specific material
  • Tier 1: Iron + element-specific material
  • Tier 2: Diamond + element-specific material
  • Tier 3: Netherite Ingot + element-specific material
Element-specific materials:
  • Water: Prismarine Shards/Crystals
  • Earth: Dripstone
  • Air: Phantom Membrane

Staffs

Staffs provide higher spell power but have slower attack speed. Basic pattern (similar to wands but using different arrangements):
  • Follows staff-specific crafting patterns
  • Uses the same element-specific materials as wands
  • Requires more materials than wands

Elemental Staff

A unique staff that provides spell power to ALL elements (+5.0 to water, earth, air, and fire). Crafting:
  • Check in-game recipe book for the exact pattern
  • Requires materials from all three elemental schools
  • One of the most versatile weapons for multi-element builds
The Elemental Staff is perfect for players who want to use spells from multiple schools without switching weapons.

Special weapons (Mod Integration)

If you have certain mods installed, additional weapons become available:

Better Nether Integration

  • Nether Ruby Wands & Staffs: Fire-aligned weapons
  • Requires Better Nether mod

Better End Integration

  • Aeternium Wands & Staffs: Arcane-aligned weapons
  • Requires Better End mod

Aether Integration

  • Valkyrie Elemental Staff: Sky-aligned weapon
  • Requires Aether mod

Arsenal Integration

  • The Avatar Staff (Tier 5): Ultimate staff with unique passive abilities
  • Requires Arsenal (RPG-Series) mod or config enabled
  • Passive spell changes based on your highest spell power element
Mod-specific items can be disabled in the configuration if you want a vanilla-only experience.

Elemental stones

Elemental stones are consumed when casting certain spells.

Aqua Stone (Water)

  • Found in underwater loot chests
  • Can be crafted (check recipe book)

Terra Stone (Earth)

  • Found in cave and mineshaft loot chests
  • Can be crafted (check recipe book)

Wind Stone (Air)

  • Found in village and pillager outpost chests
  • Can be crafted (check recipe book)
Always keep a stack of your primary element’s stones in your inventory. Running out mid-combat can be dangerous!

Disassembling equipment

You can recover materials from unwanted equipment: Smelting or Blasting:
  • Smelt/blast weapons and armor pieces to recover base materials
  • Wands yield nuggets (iron, gold)
  • Staffs yield more materials due to higher crafting cost
  • Armor pieces yield ingots or base materials
Recovery rates:
  • Tier 0-1: Small nugget/material return
  • Tier 2-3: Moderate return
  • Tier 4-5: Best return rates
