  • Optimize horse allocation
Which days are underutilized?
  • Potential for promotional pricing
  • Maintenance scheduling
  • Instructor time off
Redistribute classes for better balance:
  • Move classes from peak to low days

Understanding Status Categories

PROGRAMADA (Scheduled)

Classes that are:
  • Created and scheduled
  • Not yet completed
  • Future or current day
  • Waiting to happen
Normal: 5-10% of historical data High: 15%+ may indicate:
  • Looking at future dates
  • Classes not being marked complete
  • Scheduling ahead heavily

COMPLETADA (Completed)

Classes that:
  • Took place as scheduled
  • Student attended
  • Instructor taught
  • Normal successful outcome
Healthy: 75-90% of historical data Target: Maximize this percentage

CANCELADA (Cancelled)

Facility-initiated cancellations:
  • Weather (rain, storms)
  • Holidays

  • Sent message
  • Gave reasonable notice
Normal: 2-5% Action: Generally acceptable

ASA (Absence without Advance Notice)

Student no-show without warning:
  • Didn’t attend
  • Didn’t notify
  • No communication
Target: Minimize to 0-2% High: 5%+ requires intervention

Completion Rate Analysis

Calculating Completion Rate

Completion Rate = (Completed / Total) × 100

Example:
  Total: 256
  Completed: 211
  Rate: (211/256) × 100 = 82.4%

Benchmarks

85-95% completion rateIndicates:
  • Good weather period
  • Engaged students
  • Effective scheduling
  • Few facility issues

Seasonal Variations

Completion rates vary by season: Summer (June-August):
  • Typically higher (vacation flexibility)
  • Better weather
  • Target: 85%+
Winter (December-February):
  • May be lower (weather, holidays)
  • Holiday closures
  • Target: 70-80%
Spring/Fall (March-May, September-November):
  • Moderate rates
  • School schedules impact
  • Target: 80-85%
